Eco-innovations prepared an Energy Management Program for 100 Brush Creek Road, an 8,000 square foot office building with multiple tenants. Our program recommendations reduced total annual energy expense by 25% with the implementation of Phase 1. Phase 1 investments paid off in just 7 months.*

Why was 100 Brush Creek Road a good candidate?

100 Brush Creek Road was a good candidate for an Energy Program because most of its energy-consuming features were out-of-date, and in many cases, did not meet current national standards for energy efficiency. Since its construction, many energy efficiency advancements have enabled businesses to significantly reduce operating costs. The Energy Management Program identified original features of the building and explained how new generation technologies could improve efficiency.

Were rebates available?

100 Brush Creek Road’s local utility company offered rebates for many of the products we recommended. The approximate value of these rebates was $3,000. The financial incentive
of the rebates substantially reduced initial investment costs, and provided an opportunity for the client to realize a quick return on investment.

What was the top recommendation?

The lighting system accounted for 41% of the buildings total annual energy expense. Eco-innovations determined that a lighting system retrofit would provide the highest return-on-investment for this building and was therefore prioritized in Phase 1 of the implementation strategy.

The new lighting system saved our client a substantial amount of money and reduced annual lighting expenses by 48%. These savings account for a 20% reduction in total building energy expense.
