Eco-innovations develops energy efficient solutions that improve energy performance in existing buildings. Improving energy efficiency evolves through our three-stage process:
1. Evaluation
The first stage of our process is the on-site Energy Performance Evaluation. The evaluation identifies improvement opportunities where energy is consumed inefficiently. The Energy Performance Evaluation places emphasis on those categories that represent a significant percentage of total energy consumption as identified in the charts below.
2. Recommendation
The second stage of our process involves developing an Energy Management Program that serves as the energy efficiency master plan for the building. The program recommends behavioral- and product-based solutions that meet our clients’ goals and when implemented, improve energy efficiency. The Energy Management Program:
✓ Identifies improvement opportunities based on the Energy Performance Evaluation.
✓ Reviews potential energy and financial savings.
✓ Proposes a phased implementation strategy.
Eco-innovations meets with each client to present and discuss the program approximately one week following the evaluation. A cost-effective implementation strategy is discussed at this time, including a review of government and public utility rebate and incentive opportunities.
3. Implementation
Eco-innovations is a certified general contractor in the State of Washington (license #ECOIN**923D4) and provides product installation services. Product installation follows the agreed upon phased implementation strategy to help reduce upfront costs. Phase 1 generally includes many no- and low-cost improvements with high rates of return on investments. This phase builds an energy efficient foundation for your building; each additional phase builds on this established base to work toward a 30% reduction in total energy consumption.
