ENERGY STAR®
ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy. Recognized by more than 65% of the American public, the ENERGY STAR Label is the trusted national symbol for environmental protection through superior energy efficiency. ENERGY STAR Homes are up to 30% more efficient than conventional homes and now represent more than 20% of the new home marketplace in more than 10 states.
Eco-innovations manages the ENERGY STAR Program for new construction residential and existing commercial buildings. Upon project completion, we conduct the required on-site third-party verification, which ensures the project has met ENERGY STAR Program criteria.
Built Green™
Built Green is a local non-profit residential building program of the Master Builders Association. The Built Green mission is to promote leadership in sustainable building methods to enhance surrounding communities. Crafted to exceed code and protect the environment, Built Green homes are cost-effective to own and operate without sacrificing quality of construction. The Built Green Program allows the builder to prioritize and implement select green features to achieve varying shades of green, rated from 1 to 5 stars.
Eco-innovations provides builders, developers and architects with Built Green Program management and verification services. We streamline the process of achieving certification by providing product specification and building practice strategies consistent with the Built Green Program.
LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)
The USGBC LEED Green Building Rating System promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, material selection and indoor air quality. Builders, developers and architects using LEED are able to differentiate their homes as some of the most sustainable on the market.
Eco-innovations’ team of LEED Accredited Professionals provide valuable guidance throughout project development to ensure LEED certification for new and existing commercial and large multifamily residential projects. We also utilize LEED standards for single-family residential new construction projects.
